Flip Clip

Most tournament anglers have brought a fish up from deep water and felt the frustration of fighting to keep it alive throughout the day, only to have it handed in dead at weigh-in.

When bass are retrieved from depth, their swim bladder inflates and often forces them to float belly-up in the live well. Even if a fish reaches the scales alive, its chance of surviving after release is greatly reduced.

By clipping one or more Flip Clips to the bottom fin, the fish no longer has to expend energy trying to right itself so its gills are submerged. The Flip Clip is a fish-friendly aid that markedly improves a fish’s odds of survival.
