Sometimes called a Hanging Minnow, Moping or Damiki rig, this head is one of the most effective ways to target deep fish using modern fishfinder tech. The Hanging Head is balanced to hold any softbait perfectly horizontal whether you’re dropping straight down or swinging over fish. It pairs ideally with the Drop Minnow and uses a fine wire 1/0 Gamakatsu hook plus a wire bait keeper to secure your bait.

Our custom head shape, lifelike 3D eyes and pushed-back eye placement let the lure suspend true to the waterline. It performs exceptionally with lighter-action rods and light line, producing aggressive strikes while essentially setting itself in the hardest part of a fish’s mouth.
