Description

The HAZEDONG SHAD’s highly responsive tail picks up even the slightest water pressure during ultra-slow retrieves and soft rod twitches, producing natural vibrations that entice fish. Unlike the SPARK SHAD, this model minimizes body roll and concentrates movement in the tail for a sharp, finesse-style kick. Fish it on a dropshot and impart subtle shakes for a trembling tail action, or employ one of Chris Zaldain’s preferred methods and drop-swim the HAZEDONG SHAD through heavy-coverage zones!

Designed for a finesse presentation, the HAZEDONG SHAD excels in pressured fisheries and in clear, high-visibility situations. A belly slit lets the body compress under a bite, improving hookup rates when paired with offset hooks. Built with layered materials of varying densities, the bait stays remarkably stable even on no-sinker setups. That same layering technique also produces very natural two-tone color transitions.

JIG HEAD
Perfect for longer mid-range retrieves, strolling, or pulls accented with light rod shakes. The flat-sided profile creates realistic flash and motion that attract bass.

DROPSHOT
Provides adaptable action to trigger bites from multiple targets. The tail’s subtle vibrations are especially appealing to predators.

NO SINKER
No-sinker rigs showcase the HAZEDONG SHAD 3’s innate movement, making it a top choice for clear-water tactics and coaxing strikes in difficult conditions.
