Megabass Giant Dog X

The Megabass GIANT DOG-X pairs a lifelike silhouette with a distinctive, sharp side-to-side roll-walking motion that triggers aggressive strikes even on glassy, calm surfaces. Equipped with Megabass’ original SIDE STEPPING BALANCER SYSTEM (PAT.), the GIANT DOG-X uses a lateral tungsten balancer that shifts left and right for tighter turns, putting crisp dog-walking performance within reach of every angler. This patented mechanism is also responsible for the bait’s unusually pronounced roll-walk.

Powered by the laterally-moving weight, the GIANT DOG-X rolls nearly flat across the surface while it walks, flashing its finely finished profile to predators lurking below. By contrast, a pencil bait that only skates side-to-side without rolling generates less surface disturbance and exposes only its narrow belly to fish beneath.

Giant Dog-X performs best in water temperatures between 55 and 85 degrees. Slick, early-morning conditions and overcast or rainy days often produce the strongest results with the GIANT DOG-X.
