MAGDRAFT FREESTYLE 5 is designed as the go-to swimbait for trophy bass outings. Its short, snub-nose profile works seamlessly with screw-lock hooks, while a pre-cut belly and a recessed top-groove make rigging big setups straightforward for anglers of any skill level.

Maintaining the original’s powerful tail thump and aggressive head-shake, the FREESTYLE 5 expands on the MAGDRAFT’s proven motion with refinements that boost attraction and hookup reliability.

Use a weighted 4/0 – 6/0 screw-lock hook when working submerged vegetation where large bass lurk along shade lines, grass lanes and isolated cover. Ideal for tule lines and laydowns, slow-rolling through depth bands, and executing rapid skips into the darkest spots beneath docks and overhangs. Toss a blade in open water to add flash and extend your drawing range on long retrieves.

Fit a heavy jighead such as the MAGDRAFT HEAD to crawl chunk-rock, execute curve-falls off river ledges, and probe main-lake drop-offs — opening access to depths the MAGDRAFT hasn’t explored yet. Particularly effective for tracing bottom contours and bottom-bumping in deeper water.
