Raid Japan Battle Hog

The high-impact BATTLE HOG is a bait built to work around cover and along the bottom with common rigs such as Texas rigs, rubber jig trailers, leaderless down-shots, and free rigs. Its thick, vertically asymmetric body and flattened power arm are purposely deformed to produce strong vibration during the fall, and the arm’s own weight causes a bending motion on bottom contact that encourages strikes.

When retrieved, the BATTLE HOG smashes the water with a hammer-like action that aggressively provokes predators. That Vassaro-style downward swing, combined with alternating opening and closing motions, generates a complex, three-dimensional arm movement that throws powerful waves in every direction to draw fish from afar. The twin curly versions (3.8" & 4.4") change action intensity through their calibrated thickness, offering lustrous movement during both fall and swim, while the split-tail sizes (2.6" and 3.3") suit delicate rod work and produce sharp, vivid vibrations to tempt wary fish. Side legs prevent the body from rolling; long legs produce a relaxed, slow pulse and short legs deliver a lively, precise twitch.
