Rapala Shadow Rap

The Shadow Rap® fuses sideways thrashing with a slow vertical fade to convincingly imitate a struggling minnow. Rapala has tuned this jerkbait to produce bites three different ways: on the initial kick, during its slow sinking fall, and on the sudden snap back to life. Many jerkbaits keep moving forward with each twitch; the Shadow Rap® does not. It kicks nearly 180 degrees to the right, then left, so you can work it almost in place with minimal forward travel, holding the fluttering fade inside a fish's strike zone. That's when strikes become most likely.
