True to its name (tantrum — a spoiled child's outburst), this hook is built to dominate large bass that dart into thick structure and violently shake. It relies on sheer strength to regain control and extract fish from tight spots.

Engineered for the violent shocks of close-quarters fights on PE line, the design incorporates spring-back principles derived from piercing hooks to resist hook stretching, coupled with a reinforced shaft. The outcome is a hook that will not elongate. Because traditional sharply angled points often deform or snap under extreme hooking forces and fail to fully penetrate, the TC uses a deliberately blunter point angle to maximize durability and reduce the chance of bending or breakage.
