Shimano's Gravitator 220SS brings glide-bait ratchet technology forward with thoughtful refinements that increase its usefulness on the water and its overall performance. Fitted with ARMABOOST technology, the Gravitator 220SS folds the bait into a more streamlined profile during the cast, cutting air resistance and enabling smoother, longer casts compared with conventional designs. The lure includes a removable Action Modifying Insert positioned in the joint; taking the insert out produces a tighter, choppier action, while installing it restricts the joint’s travel to produce a wider, slower gliding presentation. Available in six configurations, three versions incorporate FLASH BOOST to amplify light reflection for better visibility, while the remaining models use SCALE BOOST, a holographic baitfish scale pattern that closely mimics natural prey. These adaptable features make the Gravitator 220SS effective both in heavy cover and out in open water, giving anglers a toolset of strike-enhancing technologies plus the flexibility to tune lure action to match fishing conditions and target behavior, increasing the odds of connecting with fish.
