Daiwa Tatula 7'1" Casting

The new 25 Tatula Bass Rods are more than a re-release — they represent the next step in delivering affordable, technique-focused bass rods.

Built with Daiwa’s high-density SVF graphite, these blanks use less resin to bond the graphite fibers, producing a lighter blank without compromising strength. The denser graphite also improves energy transfer from tip to hand for exceptionally sensitive bite detection.

SVF graphite is laid up with Daiwa’s X45 bias process, crossing layers at 45-degree angles to properly spine the blank and resist twisting. That construction enhances casting accuracy and increases hook-setting power. The rods feature Fuji O concept guides with deep-pressed aluminum oxide rings in the frames for durable protection and generous clearance for braid-to-leader knots.

New, custom Tatula reel seats are shaped for a comfortable, form-fitting hold to reduce arm and wrist fatigue. A dedicated lock nut on the reel seat secures your reel firmly. Discreet spiderweb cosmetics make the rods easy to identify in the boat, while premium cork handles add classic looks and comfortable contact.

Offered in 23 technique-specific models — including two Glatech fiberglass builds — the revised Tatula Bass Rod line covers the range of bass techniques anglers need.
