Sunline D Braid

Sunline Defier D-Braid was developed with Sunline’s pro anglers in Japan for precision finesse fishing, optimized for spinning and light bait finesse setups. Its core-and-sheath construction gives the line a controlled stiffness that reduces wind knots and tangles while remaining supple enough for smooth casts with very light lures. The PE fibers used have a greater specific gravity than standard polyethylene braids, so D-Braid sinks faster and maintains better contact with lightweight baits, improving sensitivity and bite detection.

D-Braid’s refined surface finish delivers exceptionally smooth casting and resists fraying at knots. The specialized fibers are water-repellent and won’t soak up water, preserving consistent performance cast after cast. With almost no stretch, the braid provides a higher hook-setting ratio and enhanced feel at the end of the line. It’s offered in a high-visibility pink that performs in varied conditions and makes it simple to trace casts and monitor line movement.
