Sunline XPlasma Asegai Braid

After four years of development, Sunline has introduced Asegai braid, which uses patented Xplasma technology to significantly boost slickness, abrasion resistance and water repellency. Compared with our conventional braided lines, slickness is improved by 370% and smoothness by 260%. The Xplasma finish also increases hydrophobic performance by over 240% versus standard braided lines, allowing longer casts and reducing freeze-up in guides and reels during cold weather. Top braided-line anglers including Aaron Martens, Brent Ehrler, Brett Hite, Jason Christie, Todd Faircloth and Dean Rojas all contributed to its development. Asegai is a premium eight-strand, Japanese-made PE with a tightly woven surface. Available in two colors—dark green and light green—for enhanced visibility.
