Gamakatsu Gika Rig

The Gika Rig blends the subtle presentation of finesse fishing with the tempo of power fishing. It combines an off-set shank worm hook with an elongated, drop-shot-style weight secured directly to the eye via a solid ring. With the weight positioned below the hook, anglers can 'feel' the bottom, sensing changes in composition and locating fish-holding structure. The rig creates a natural swim-and-drop action; the solid ring lets the soft plastic float and rotate freely as it falls. It slips through vegetation easily and draws strong strikes from bass.
