Daiwa Tatula 300

Just when anglers thought the Tatula lineup couldn’t be improved, Daiwa introduces the Tatula 300 — a true 300-size baitcasting reel built for tossing big bass offerings. Daiwa’s development team scaled the Tatula up to give fishermen a slightly larger platform ideal for oversized, deep-diving crankbaits, swimbaits, A-rigs and similar heavy presentations.

In short, it’s designed for casting large lures at even larger fish. The standout feature on the Tatula 300 is the T-Wing System level-wind. When the reel is out of gear the T-Wing reduces line resistance, allowing line to exit the spool with less friction so casts carry farther.

Daiwa’s spool allows precise adjustment of spool tension while the T-Wing System opens the line path during casts. Those two elements combine to deliver longer, more accurate casts and make handling big lures easier — whether you’re chunking into the wind, skipping baits or firing heavy profiles to tight targets.

The T-Wing System also helps minimize backlashes on the 300’s larger spool by decreasing the angle of the line leaving the spool and moderating spool speed. The result is smoother, more efficient operation that stands out in this reel class.

Externally the Tatula 300 includes Daiwa’s patented Magforce magnetic casting system for straightforward, on-the-fly adjustments to match wind, rod choice and lure aerodynamics. Inside, beefier gears sit in an aluminum frame that creates room for precise gear alignment, yielding greater power and torque for battling big baits and big fish.
