The updated AGS guides are lighter than before, and the rigid AGS frame transmits line vibrations directly to your hand for exceptional sensitivity. These AGS carbon fiber guides rank among the lightest available. Built on SVF Compile X blanks — which use a greater fiber-to-resin ratio than conventional HVF and SVF constructions — these rods deliver a lighter, stronger and more responsive blank.

Complementing the SVF Compile X layup is our Nanoplus process, a proprietary method that ensures uniform resin and carbon distribution throughout the blank for consistent power and sensitivity from every angle. The X45 45-degree construction minimizes blank twist, improving strength, sensitivity and hook-setting performance. Air Sensor reel seats reduce weight and enhance palm comfort, resulting in a rod that balances strength, feel and ergonomics.

Offered in 10 casting models and 3 spinning models to suit a broad array of situations, each blank is developed around a concept rather than a single technique, giving you flexibility in selecting the right tool for the task. Every rod includes a fully adjustable Daiwa Hook Keeper and a protective rod sock.
