Shimano has reimagined the Curado lineup of casting and spinning rods to deliver the power and adaptability tournament anglers demand. Incorporating Shimano's Hi-Power X technology, which uses diagonally-wrapped carbon tape forming "X" shapes on the rod blank's outermost layer, the Curado blanks gain notable strength and enhanced casting performance. The series now sports Shimano CI4+ reel seats to boost sensitivity while cutting overall weight. A Fuji tangle-free K guide train fitted with FazLite inserts minimizes windknots and allows anglers to fish comfortably with monofilament, fluorocarbon, or PowerPro braided fishing line. Built for competition, the Curado rods are offered in a range of powers and actions to cover the full spectrum of techniques an angler may need when a tournament check is on the line.
