The updated AGS guides are lighter than ever; their rigid carbon frames transmit line vibrations straight to your hand for outstanding sensitivity. These AGS carbon fiber guides rank among the lightest available. Built on SVF Compile X blanks—which use a greater fiber volume and less resin than traditional constructions—the blanks are lighter, stiffer and more responsive than comparable HVF or SVF designs. Working in tandem with SVF Compile X is our Nanoplus process.

Nanoplus is a proprietary manufacturing method that ensures an even resin-to-carbon distribution across the blank, yielding consistent power and heightened sensitivity from all angles. The blank also incorporates X45 construction: fibers laid at 45 degrees to resist twisting, delivering improved strength, sensitivity and hook-setting performance. Air Sensor Reel Seats reduce weight while improving comfort and grip, resulting in a rod that balances peak feel with robust build quality.

Offered in 10 casting configurations and 3 spinning options to suit a broad spectrum of fishing situations, each model is concept-driven rather than locked to a single technique—providing greater versatility when selecting the correct tool for the task. Every rod comes fitted with our fully adjustable Daiwa Hook Keeper and is supplied with a protective rod sock.
