At the heart of the Poison Adrena B is Shimano’s Spiral X Core, which upgrades the classic Spiral X carbon tape with Toray Nanoalloy® materials to deliver roughly 10% more torsional stiffness and about 15% greater compressional strength versus standard Spiral X constructions. A new Full Monocoque Handle paired with Shimano’s CI4+ reel seat cuts weight while boosting durability and feel, increasing the transmission of lure movement and bite feedback. The rod’s guide train — a combination of Shimano X-Guide and Fuji SiC guides — further trims overall mass and helps improve casting distance and accuracy.
