Shimano Tekota

The Tekota A series extends Tekota’s reputation for rugged reliability with a complete redesign. Shimano engineers reworked the iconic Tekota to boost gear strength and accelerate line retrieval, while reinforcing durability for demanding use. The lineup now includes CoreProtect to better resist corrosion and Cross Carbon Drag to deliver greater stopping power against hard-fighting fish. Built on a HAGANE Body to enhance structural strength and reeling smoothness, Tekota A reels also feature a loud clicker and an ergonomic S-Compact Body shape for improved in-hand comfort. For 2022, Shimano supplements the revamped 500 and 600 Tekota A models with an all-new 800 size that provides additional line capacity and increased stopping power.
